Town & Country Legal Services has over 50 years combined experience in Debt Collection, Credit Control and Investigation.
We are the provider of expert Debt Recovery and Credit Management services to both businesses and individuals. We also supply case support services such as Worldwide tracing of individuals and evidence collection for the legal profession.
As Professional Investigators, we have access to a Global Network of experienced field agents through a full membership to the Association of British Investigators. Kevin and Melanie Bishop were the founding partners of the business in 1989 and have successfully been in the industry since then. Both remain actively involved in Town & Country Legal Services 35 years later, with an additional partner now in place.
The Partnership are responsible for all key decision making within the business and advise on complex matters, thanks to their vast knowledge.
The Managers are responsible for their individual team, ensuring a smooth and efficient working environment within the office. They answer any questions their team may have and provide guidance to better the people around them.
Kevin Bishop - Senior Partner
Kevin is a successful businessman who has enjoyed a long career in this field from 1979. Kevin is a founder member of this partnership which originally began in 1989. Kevin is a former Police Sergeant and has held directorships and partnerships within credit management companies, debt collection agencies and private investigation businesses for over 25 years.
Mel Bishop - Partner
Mel is a founding member of Town & Country Legal Services LLP and has enjoyed a long career starting out in the Finance sector. The partnership was formed in 1989 and has progressed soundly year by year to the dynamic and successful business it is today. Mel has held Senior positions in a wide range of businesses with her main focus on the financial aspects; from the formulation of strategic and long-term business plans to supervising general accounting activity and budgeting. Mel is an active networker and is the founding member of "Surrey Women's Business Group".
Graham Bishop - Partner
Graham has a background of running companies and dealing closely with clients and the public alike. He is a Partner in Town & Country Legal Services LLP, where his mediation skills which have been gathered throughout his working career benefit our clients by achieving the best results for them, as well as retaining their current clients, cementing relations for future business.
Ruhul Crorie - Head of Client Relations
Ruhul is a graduate of Oxford Brookes University having obtained a BA in English Language & Literature. He also attended The China Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing where he taught English in his position as Head of Foreign Languages. From his experience, including a stint at an international trading firm, Ruhul has developed strong organisational skills in addition to leading large teams.
Ruhul heads up our Client Relationship team so excels when speaking to people; with over 10 years experience in the field, Ruhul can be seen frequently liaising with new clients in order to assist them with debt recovery. Ruhul also shines in his ability to help the Town & Country team and is a fundamental part of our success.
Ruhul has recently started playing golf to help him network, but it turns out he is quite the natural! Outside of work, Ruhul can be seen playing at his local course, playing football with his local team and watching his favourite team, Arsenal.
Daniel Bishop - Operations Manager
Daniel has been at Town & Country since 2011, where he joined as an Account Manager, meaning he is an expert in the field. He has accommodated a range of clients in his time and can answer any query directed his way. Daniel has extensive experience in both private & consumer debt and is able to approach client situations in a professional & diligent manner. He is responsible for handling a large client portfolio using his negotiation skills to reach a professional solution.
Daniel is in charge of the business operation and ensures it functions smoothly and efficiently, by implementing key changes and strategies to better the business.
Rory Bennett - Office Manager
Rory has been working at Town & Country for almost ten years now; this time has enabled him to gain valuable experience in different methods of debt collection and private investigation making him a crucial member of the Town & Country team. Rory keeps the office in check, ensuring it runs efficiently and productively.
Being actively involved in multiple departments, Rory uses his experience and knowledge of debt collection to ensure that the high standards of Town & Country are maintained across staff.
Dan Bland - Collections Manager
Dan joined the T&C team in 2019 and quickly moved up the ranks, starting as an Account Executive, to where he is now as the Collections Manager. As the Collections Manager, Dan works on ways to increase the amount of debt recovered for our clients and implements key strategies for our team to use to enable further success. Dan heads up our Collections Team, but also has vast experience with Litigation, so he can answer any query that is put forward to him. Dan can frequently be seen networking, helping his team, or using his initiative to create new ideas.
Outside of work, Dan can be seen playing golf and supporting his rugby and football team, Harlequins and Chelsea.
